Don't turn around my little child
My my where does all the time go? I feel like I don't do a lot in one day, but the time just goes so quickly. Before I know it we have eaten dinner and the day is over.

So last night we went fishing!!! We have always been fisher people! We took Lexi before Christopher was born and then brought the double stroller right along after he was here! We always like to go late at night as well! We go all over. Kacy Key, down by mote, and our favorite spot right under the bridge at St. Armands! Last night we took Henry's little brother and sister along with us. First we made a trip and bought new poles and hooks and such, then out we went. Lexi and Christopher's poles are the dinky little kids ones, but wouldn't you know, they caught the most fish. Lexi caught 4 and Christopher caught 1. We always have a contest to see who can catch the most, and mostly I would win, for some reason I always caught most, but this time it was Lexi. I got some competition. Right when we got Christophers bait on and he threw it out he caught something within minutes. We hadn't even gotten everyones poles out yet!! Then came Lexi, again, and again, and yet again. Henry and I caught nothing and Henry's brother caught one fish and a sea urchin! I love the summer time when we get to go out and fish!! Hopefully we can get out on a boat like we did two years ago and fish!!

Fortunately no one was hurt and this occupied the kids for several hours :o)
This picture was just for fun! We may have a carpenter on our hands. His guitar wasn't working the other day and I caught him unscrewing all the screws to hold it together. He told me he was going to fix it..ha ha. He is so serious when he does these things!

and then you can drag your kids around in it pulling it with the car!
What a wonderful Dad! He always comes up with the most fun ideas....although they are things I always question :o) So after helping dad all day at work, finally the kids are sleeping, and I am just about ready to crash....just hoping to clear up something I stirred up and maybe shouldn't have....Good night zzzzzzzzzzzz
Later on that night when I was driving home from Jamie's I got pulled over!!!! I knew I was speeding just a little bit, and just couldn't believe I got pulled over though. It was 11 o clock at night and I still hadn't taken my heart rate medicine, so my heart was racing quite fast b/c I was nervous! I seriously was worried for myself (lol) anyways he knocked on my window and I rolled it down. He said I am so and so with the Sarasota County deputies office, do you know why I pulled you over? I said no (heh heh) and he told me I had a light out! PHEW! That was it, a stupid light out in front! He let me go with a warning and told me to get it fixed right away b/c I could have gotten a 100 dollar ticket! So Henry and I went to Walmart at 12 in the morning and bought a new light and fixed it right away! NO TICKETS FOR ME!!! wahoo! Then we went out dancing! My mom had both the kids alone for the first time by herself over night! Then Sunday morning I picked them up, and we hung out with Dad all day. We went to the mall and to a few other stores. We stopped at his parents for him to eat some thing they made from his country, and I did his sisters hair! Then off to home and to bed! We have all been a little under the weather the last few days, antibiotics and all, so we have been having early nights! Then that leads us to today! Nothing special going on today, just went and ate lunch at the mall with dad on his lunch break, made a few store stops, and then home. At one store I bought the kids new "learning books" Lexi came home and practiced her letters, and Christopher his shapes! Cant wait until Lexi is in real school and learning these things from a teacher! That's it Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, summed up in one blog :)

many more years of Easter bunny pictures!

and maybe tomorrow or in a few days I'll give another one a try :) It was quite fun actually! I am usually not one for patience with things like this, but I liked what I accomplished :o) So hair was done, for both the girls and the boys, and so now what to do? Well we attempted a new recipe....it was eh...okay, something just wasn't right with it, it was certainly rich and edible, but next week we will have at another recipe!
We looked some more, bought some things, some more junk, and then off to Grandmas. The kids did puzzles, played candy land, played with play dough, and then we got pizza for dinner! That was basically the day! Now, just to add a little funny story. The kids both won fish last time we were at the fair....unfortunately they died (too bad..wink wink). Well like I said in a previous blog Christopher likes to tell me the toilet is talking to me....well today he told me the fish that we flushed were talking to me and he walked around the bathroom talking in a "fish" language...pretty funny, one for the book!
She enjoyed a variety of rides, and didn't mind trying most of them out...that was until.....The motorcycle ride...something about her being tied with a rope around her chest and then being jerked when the ride first started, was not her idea of fun...after this experience she was very selective on what she chose to ride.
And now for my daring, courageous Mr. Christopher....He tends to be more like his mother ;) He enjoyed everyride. We would walk around even by the big rides and he would want to ride them all (Ring of Fire, Scorpion, etc.) There was one that he got on that took him a bit for surprise, I didn't think he would go on it...but he did.

Also I wanted to share this with whoever, I found these today and to much of my amazement, I did not know some of these things....maybe you did?
*Elephants are the only animals that can't jump.
*Women blink twice as often as men.
*It's physically impossible to lick your elbow. (Did you just try?)
*No English word rhymes with month.
*Our eyes remain the same size from birth, but our noses and ears keep growing.
*The shortest complete sentence in English is "Go."
*The average life span of a major league baseball is seven pitches
They always know what to do or say to weezle their way out of time out. I was so frustrated at them that I sent them both to their room and told them not to come out until I said it was ok. They did indeed come out before I said, but this is how they looked when they came out. How could I not laugh. I decided to stop everything I was doing and we played a litttle while. I'll finish it when they go to bed.
